Nkechi is a Principal at MVP Ventures. Prior to MVP, Nkechi was an investor at Anthemis, a fintech-focused venture fund. At Anthemis, she backed companies like Kasheesh, Power Finance, Atomic, and Guruhotel. Over the course of her career, Nkechi has invested in over 30+ companies as both an angel and scout. She has scouted for a number of funds including; Kleiner Perkins, WingVC, and Wonder Ventures. Her portfolio includes companies like Commsor (Backed by: Felicis Ventures, Atomico), Firstbase (Backed by: Y Combinator, Carta Ventures) Modyfi (Backed by: Craft Ventures, General Catalyst), StellarFi (Backed by: Acrew Capital), and Nuon (Backed by: Redpoint Ventures and Uncork Capital).

Nkechi sees venture is an extension of entrepreneurship. She strives to be helpful to founders as they navigate pre and post Product-Market Fit. By acting as the first ‘sales’ hire, Nkechi works with founders to execute on key areas like GTM, fundraising, and hiring.
