I’m passionate about investing. I spent my career raising capital for some of the top alternative investment managers in New York, including Morgan Stanley, Tiger Management, and Scoggin Capital.
I’ve seen a lot throughout my career. I’ve lived through the dot-com crash, the financial crisis, and now the pandemic. And while they were difficult to go through, each of those experiences has helped me become a better investor.
I bring a valuable network to the firm. Throughout my career, I’ve developed close relationships with institutional investors and family offices around the world. There’s nothing I enjoy more than sharing great opportunities with them and knowing that they value my opinion and advice.
Good leadership starts with integrity. It’s about earning people’s trust, having a clear vision that you always stay true to, and inspiring others to do their best.
I’ve known Andre De Baubigny for more than 30 years. When he first founded MVP, I got involved as an investor because I knew his track record of picking winners. When he offered me a partnership position, I took it because I believe in him and know that he’s building something great.
I grew up just north of New York City along the Hudson river. My father was a real estate entrepreneur and taught me a lot about cyclical markets and the trade-offs entrepreneurs are constantly making between taking risks and earning rewards.
I’ve always wanted to work with a small team of like-minded people who share my work ethic. That’s something I’ve found at MVP. I have a lot of respect for everyone at this firm.
A clear path to profitability. In my view, that’s the one thing that all of MVP’s portfolio companies have in common.
One thing that’s important to me is living a healthy lifestyle. Eating right and exercising every day is part of who I am.
